Description
Automatic Controlled Rectifier Unit
Automatic Controlled Rectifier Unit – is a transformer rectifier that is designed to impress DC current onto a cathodic structure.
Cathtect’s units consist of four control modes that monitor and control the CP system.
Control modes;
- Potential Control,
- Current Control,
- Voltage Control
- Iterative instant off control.
Technically more advanced compared to manually controlled rectifiers, they can also be easily integrated into remote monitoring and telemetry systems.
Designed to withstand harsh conditions and have a long design life of 25 years.
Furthermore, Cathtect’s Automatically Controlled Rectifiers are highly beneficial to a CP system and have a wider variety of features compared to the older manually controlled rectifier.
The change in environments and seasons can be easily adjusted automatically given the automation of output.
- Multiple automatic control modes;
- Voltage
- Current
- Potential
- Iterative instant off
- Secondary thyristor controlled
- High power applications
- Efficiency up to 75%
- Integrated remote monitoring
Standard ranges for TRU (3phs) is as follows:
- 1000W 20V 50A
