Direct Current Voltage Gradient Meter (DCVG)

Direct Current Voltage Gradient Meter is a sensitive as well as a dynamic battery-powered instrument used in DC Voltage Gradient pipeline surveys.

Designed for simplicity and its light weight helps in minimizing physical discomfort for the user.

This survey technique is used for assessing the effectiveness of corrosion protection on buried steel structures.

Made simple through the use of 120Ampere capacity terminal posts with thumb fixing nuts conveniently colour coded. The battery is an “internal sealed lead acid maintenance free” battery and provides up to 140hours of service before re-charging when a low battery level is reached a LED light will come on indicating that the instrument is flat and therefore needs to be charged.

A charging socket is provided for connecting, and includes a three-pin wall type charger.
•Audible tones provide confirmation of the switching cycle selected.
•Bright Indicating LED’s provide ample feedback of operation and selections.
•The robust 3CR12 Stainless Steel enclosure, purposefully designed to withstand the rigours of Pick-up Truck portage.
